Ordered the food for the whole family yesterday! Super nice driver and impeccable pizza as it should be and the pasta was awesome! From now on we are regular customers ? Thank you ??

Pizza was salty as well as too thin and too hard. Not at all Italian style as advertised on lieferando. I need 2 liters of water after eating it. This tastes more like dry bread with salty cheese but not pizza

The protective measures are sufficient. Orders are placed outside on the terrace, there is a disinfectant dispenser at the entrance, the minimum distance of 1.5 m is maintained by set up tables on which the menus and drinks are displayed. The dishes are served contactlessly over the tables, contactless payment is offered. The wood-fired pizza was excellent, the pasta (Rigatoni Carbonara) was tasty (the noodles were al dente), but the dish contains cream, as indicated on the menu, and should therefore only have been called Rigatoni alla carbonara. For this reason I am subtracting one star.

This restaurant is very bad because its closed even tho ita stated that it's open. Came here several times just for the owners to tell us to go away! What a shame.

It's been a while now, but was eating there before the current lockdown. Very nice shop, delicious food and short waiting times. And - insider tip - try their homemade juices! Suuuuper delicious. Not exactly cheap, otherwise I would drink it by the liter. Really divine! ?

Delicious. Not nice from the outside. I wouldn't go in there. Were there with friends from Frankfurt. The restaurant is very cozy inside. The food was very tasty. Have been here for the second time.

We had two different pasta dishes, a pizza, a humus dish and caprese. The delivery was there after 20-25 minutes, very hot and all dishes tasted delicious. Uncomplicated ordering, delicious food and very fast delivery times - that's how it should be. Recommended ?.

So the food was really really good. Price performance is right there in any case. The atmosphere is unfortunately a bit hectic because the seats are very tight. When we visited the shop was also fully occupied. The service was authentic, but also a bit spoiled. Nevertheless, definitely a recommendation ...

We had another leisurely meal before the lockdown, and a very charming waiter brought us a blanket without being asked. Although the shop was full, he had everything in view. Food was also very, very tasty.

Went here today with some friends. Pizza was a good average. Service ok but definitely friendly.

Cannot be said clear enough. Food is fantastic, portions are very good and its reasonably priced. The menu is guaranteed to have something you enjoy and you cannot go wrong. Fish, pasta and pizza's are all great. The hummus is fantastic! Try their mixed mediterranen entré, you won't he dissapointed. Their servers are also very friendly en helpful. For the less stellar parts, it takes a very long time to he served or even approached for drinks; despite the restaurant being at around 70% capacity. After eating we ordered one last glass of wine and a coffee...alas, after 20 min they never came and we requested to pay..drinks were on the tab and at this point do they realized they never brought them. Mistakes happen, but I feel with 5 people behind the bar and the restaurant not even close to being full its hard to justify. Also understand that this spot is very much into the "party" area and a lot of people come here for a drink before heading into Sachsenhausen, but the music made conversations difficult enough that I could hear the conversation of those on tables around (since they had to raise your voice). I will certainly go back again, to give the service another try since the food was great, perhaps in the middle of the week where the music might not be as loud. All in all would recommend, specially before going out.

I was there with my family to celebrate my daughter's birthday and everything went perfectly! Great food, speed and very friendly staff. Highly recommended and would definitely go again ??

I have been here a couple of times I must say the service varies based on who is serving you. Some of the staff is extremely friendly while the others are the total opposite. Nevertheless the food is tasty and you have an option to combine two of my favourites Mediterranean and italian. I recommend this place if you happen to be in lokalbahnof but don't except very good service.

The waitress was actually nice but runs like sleeping pills ... the waitress was more attentive. The food was good quality but unfortunately some dishes were not my taste. Price performance can not complain ... ?

Unfortunately not to be recommended by us! The apple spritzer consisted of 95% tap water, at least a new one with a little less tap water was brought on request. Unfortunately, the food arrived delayed, so that my friends had almost finished eating, the portions were still okay, but the chicken skewer was not well done. A rating with no star is not possible, hence a star.

We've been walking by here for years and although the restaurant is very appealing, this was our first time here. We had the pizza with beetroot and one with pepperoni sausage, the dough for both was thin and very crispy, but the more classic pizza was too salty for me. Next time I will choose one of the more "creative" varieties.

Good Italian restaurant at Affentorplatz. Youthful and nice and not too loud. No snobby and expensive place but a bit like Jamie's Italian if it's familiar. Good price level. Most pizzas cost less than € 9 and most pasta dishes less than € 14. Great place to just go out and cook an evening m

Very tasty food, at great prices. We sat outside today and were served by Eda. She was super nice, always present and looked after us great. With the business menu there is a starter and a soft drink 0.2l with the menu free of charge. There is also a choice for vegetarians. The food was very tasty and was well received by our group (7 people). It's also easy to get to by public transport. We really liked it.

The pasta with chicken, mushroom and white wine was divine. The other dishes looked also very good. Only positive reactions at our table. Cosy terrace and good service.

Pizza was really tasty and was ready quickly. Homemade soda was also delicious and refreshing. The service was super friendly and relaxed. Nice atmosphere there. All in all a very pleasant experience!

I've been coming to Gioia for years and the food is generally very good and prepared with fresh ingredients. However, some of the dishes are prepared with too much oil for my taste (for example, the pasta arrabiata and the mixed salad with "grilled" chicken breast and vegetables can be a bit too oily). I also often notice that the spaghetti noodles are overcooked more often than not, but the papardelle and rigatoni is always excellent in my experience. The salads also sometimes have way too much dressing. Pizzas are decently good, I especially like the Melanzane, but the crust leaves a bit to be desired (very thin crust without a lot of flavor), although it gets nice and crispy in their wood oven. Service is generally good, but sometimes a bit slow and hard to catch their attention. Overall a good Mediterranean place.

Very good service and food ? nice daily menu. Liebe zum Meer is a highly recommendable dish. Has an outdoor area.

Pizza slightly salty

Sorry to say but pizza we received was shamefully dry and poor with ingredients. Just have a look on the photo - that was supposed to be Greece pizza with feta and salmon. The pizza was very gummy (we ordered the delivery). ingredients- total disappointment!

Very good food! We were passing by trying to find a place to eat (that wasn't filled to the brim) and suddenly we got a whiff of a strong and tasty smell! Didnt disappoint! An array of plates and beverages available!
